Worn soles and heels are removed. The old cork is removed and replaced with new cork.
From the welt old stitch is removed. The metal shank is replaced if necessary. When I repair the sole,
I use Rendenbach J.R. Leather sole.
to give you the greatest value for your money. Rubber soles I will analyze the original sole and replace it with the same sole. If any reason I cannot find your original rubber soul I will contact you and discuss our options
A quality rubber heel or combination heel is attached to a new solid leather base and is secured to the sole with glue and threaded nails to ensure a proper bond. I then hand polished and buffed for a "like new" look. |
